Bust of show.
It truly is hard to decide which one we like the most. Each sculpture has such personality, and evokes friends or family from a time past.
We purchased six of these busts from a dealer who was not sure the artist’s name. Only one of the pieces happens to be signed; though hard to discern it appears to be someone named Pingitore. After a little digging we found out that they are by a Nicholas Pingitore and are known to show up at auction now and then. Little additional information is available.
Strange.
Still, lovely they are. Each piece stands about 16 to 20 inches tall and is perfectly mounted and balanced on a nice sleek black base.
They are heavy and appear to be bronze.
Perfect for those needing a noble mid-century accent piece or an instant ancestor. Stop in and see for yourself. The prices for these are very reasonable.
